Deeside Industrial Park business forum celebrates first anniversary

COMPANY bosses at Deeside Industrial Park have met for the first anniversary of their business forum.

About 60 business people gathered at the Days Hotel in Sealand for the event, which provided an opportunity to share ideas and network.

Park co-ordinator Brian Chaloner said: “Business representatives were given the chance to enter a prize draw to win a Ferrari driving experience day by treatme.net – and the area sales manager for Dandy’s Topsoil was the lucky winner.”

North Wales Police also provided a crime update covering the last three months at the site.

“The crime rate is down on last year, which is great news for business owners,” said Brian.

The forum is part of the Strategic Business Parks Project, which was started in June last year in conjunction with the Welsh Assembly Government, Flintshire County Council and Wrexham County Borough Council.
