1st Flint Scout Group reveals new-look hut
A DILAPIDATED Scout base in Flint has been officially reopened after a £25,000 makeover.
Property company Styles & Wood transformed the rundown hut in Windsor Drive after the 1st Flint Scout Group was chosen from five applicants as the most in need of a renovation.
The new building will be available for use as a facility for the entire community.
Scout leader Peter Jackson said: “We’re delighted with the results and can hardly recognise our new-look Scout hut.
“All of the Scouts are grateful for the hard work and dedication that’s been shown by Styles & Wood and its team of generous suppliers.”
