Saltney schools benefit from £1,100 cheque gift from mayor Ann Lloyd
FOUR Saltney schools are celebrating after they received a cash gift from the town’s mayor in a presentation ceremony.
Cllr Ann Lloyd handed out a total of £1,100 to be shared equally between the schools, as part of her commitment to giving back to the community as the end of her term as town mayor approaches.
Schools benefiting from the initiative were St Anthony’s Catholic Primary, Saltney Ferry Primary, Wood Memorial Primary and St David’s High, each receiving £275.
Cllr Lloyd said: “This money is to thank them for the help and hard work they have done over the past year.”
