Sealand Pathfinder scheme launched

COMMUNITY leaders gathered to celebrate the launch of a new scheme which aims to promote closer networking between neighbourhoods and the police.

Sealand Manor Community Centre was the venue for the launch of the area’s Pathfinder initiative, which was marked with a party.

Over the past few months, Sealand Manor residents have had their say on what priorities police should focus on in the neighbourhood.

They pinpointed issues such as litter, noise and choosing the community centre as a focal point for everyone living in Sealand Manor, which police will now help act upon.

Sealand’s launch follows the Pathfinder scheme starting in Saltney and the Cornist area of Flint.
