Flint, St Richard Gwyn pupils raise money for RNLI

THREE St Richard Gwyn High pupils in Flint put their best foot forward for charity.

A visit to Flint lifeboat station in July inspired Rhianne Sandall, Nia Davies, and Georgia Pierce to spend part of their summer holiday raising funds for the RNLI.

The trio walked up Moel Famau seven times for the life boat charity, raising £186 in the process.

The girls presented the cheque to deputy divisional inspector of lifeboats Matt Croft, and deputy divisional engineer Mark Crumb.

Mr Croft praised the girls for taking the initiative to raise funds for the RNLI and thanked them for their tremendous effort.
