DETECTIVES investigating the disappearance of Mold vet Catherine Gowing say she was seen at Asda Queensferry on Friday night.
And they hope the new information, received after a public appeal, will help piece together her movements.
Catherine, 37, of Cae Isa in New Brighton, was seen entering the store at 8.06pm, and left at 8.39pm.
She was wearing blue jeans, a light brown or khaki zip-up fleece with white sleeves and white side panels. She also had on plain black flat shoes and her long brown hair was tied up.
Catherine had a bright brown saddle bag across her shoulder and body and was carrying a plastic Asda bag and a pizza-type box.
Detective Superintendent John Hanson of North Wales Police said: “Our priority is to trace Catherine and we would urge anyone who has seen her or her Renault Clio, bearing the Irish registration plate 00D 99970, to contact the force incident room on 101.
“The public’s assistance in the search cannot be emphasised enough."
Detectives interviewing a Gwynedd man on suspicion of Catherine's murder have this morning (Thursday) been granted a 36-hour extension to question him.
