CRAIG Harrison has left Airbus UK Broughton to become director of football at Welsh Premier rivals The New Saints.
Weeks of talks over Christmas came to a head yesterday (Thursday) when Harrison finally put pen to paper and informed Airbus that he would be leaving.
Commercial director at the Airfield Stewart Roberts said: “Craig has taken this club from a struggling side in an 18-team league to a top six challenger in the current Welsh Premier.
“He has done tremendous work at this club and set us up for years to come and everyone at the club is sad to see him leave.
“Gareth Owen and Andy Thomas will remain at the club to run the first team and we will begin the search for a new director of football in due course.”
Harrison is due to be unveiled in a press conference at TNS later today (Friday).
