Football: Deeside Soccer School invites young players to improve skills

A SOCCER school is offering youngsters of all abilities the opportunity to improve their game.

Deeside Soccer School is run by Clive Davies and holds training sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

And for the June half-term break there will be extra sessions laid on to keep young players active.

“The soccer school is a development centre for boys and girls aged five to 15 and 16-18,” said Davies.

“We provide qualified coaching at excellent facilities to provide players with the best experience we can.”

The doors are open to any players who seek to improve their enjoyment of the game, including disabled players.

Deeside Soccer School runs weekly from 7-8pm on Mondays at Hawarden High School astroturf and on Wednesdays at Deeside Leisure Centre.

On Saturdays sessions are held at Sandycroft Football Development Centre on Phoenix Street (10am-noon) and at Garden City and Sealand Development Centre on Welsh Road, next to the Leprechaun (2pm-4pm).

During half-term on Tuesday, June 1 there will be a course at Sandycroft between 10am and 3pm and Thursday, June 3 at Sealand, including a World Cup Fives tournament and competitions for the Leprechaun Trophy and the New Inn Trophy.
