Chance to join one of two half-term Deeside Soccer Schools

YOUNGSTERS are invited to take part in soccer schools running in the Deeside area next week.

Deeside Soccer School coach Clive Davies has organised sessions at the Phoenix Street Football Development Centre on Tuesday, the Sealand Manor Playing Fields on Wednesday and the Welsh Road Garden City pitch, each from 10am-3pm.

Qualified CRB-checked coaches will train budding football stars in three age categories from five to 18 years old.

All abilities are welcome but football boots and shinpads must be worn. A club lunch will be provided.

Flintshire County Council has arranged a soccer school for children aged five to 10 at Deeside Leisure Centre next week.

The school is organised by the leisure centre’s head of football development, Lee Breeze, and it will run from Monday to Thursday, between 10am and 3pm. The cost will be £30 for the four days.
