COLEG LLYSFASI near Ruthin, now part of Deeside College, is holding an open evening today from 5-8pm.
The event will also showcase land-based courses at the Northop campus.
The event is ideal for anyone considering entering the agricultural industry or working with animals, and visitors will get the opportunity to discuss options and choose courses.
Students will also have the opportunity to apply for full-time courses starting in September 2011.
But courses fill up quickly and students are encouraged to apply early to avoid missing out on securing a place on their chosen course.
Demonstrations will be ongoing throughout the evening to give a further insight into specific areas of study.
Deeside College principal and chief executive David Jones said: “These are exciting times at Deeside College.
“With the increased provision of land-based learning opportunities at Coleg Llysfasi we’re confident we have the best ever range of full-time courses.
“We look forward to meeting prospective students and can guarantee they will find a friendly welcome and plenty of information to hand.”
