A CHARITY celebrating its 150th anniversary has received a boost.
Representatives of Cilcain Young Farmers Club met a delegation from the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) to present a £300 cheque, the proceeds of the harvest festival fundraiser.
The presentation was before the Advent service conducted by the Archbishop of Wales, the Most Rev Barry Morgan, to celebrate the charity’s anniversary at St Asaph Cathedral.
Clwyd YFC county organiser Eleri Roberts said: “The RABI does a lot of good work for farmers and we are very pleased with Cilcain club for raising this money to help the charity.
“It is wonderful for our members to take part in this important service.”
