SYCHDYN prolonged ASTON PARK RANGERS’ miserable start to the 2010-11 Cymru Alliance Premier Division season by beating them 3-1 in their own back yard.
James Butler gave Rangers the lead but Dale Lovett equalised before the break and Mike Parker and Tim Hughes struck in the second half to seal the win.
Adam Davies scored a consolation goal seven minutes from time as SHOTTON STEEL fell 4-1 at Rhos United.
In Division One CONNAH’S QUAY TIGERS returned 4-1 victors from FLINT MOUNTAIN.
In the Reserve Division SHOTTON STEEL RESERVES scored twice through Alex Newton in the first half against HOLYWELL TOWN RESERVES.
In the end it proved to be enough for them to cling on to as despite Darren Horne’s goal on the hour, Town could not reel Shotton in and it finished 2-1.
CAERWYS RESERVES had a day to forget at Abergele Dragons Reserves as they were defeated 4-0.
In the Reserve Premier League HALKYN UNITED battled hard but lost 4-2 at Glan Conwy, Phill Acott and John Rigby scoring for United.
