FLINTSHIRE Freeze, who are still working to secure a new head coach following Karl Creamer’s departure, will stage a fundraising game at Deeside Ice Rink on Saturday.
Visiting to face a Freeze representative side will be the Lancaster Canucks, a travelling recreational team from Canada made up of retired players who still have some impressive skills.
Face-off is 4.15pm, doors open at 4pm and the entrance fee is just £3 per adult and £1 per child. Profit from the gate will go to the Freeze’s juniors to help support their running costs.
