John Summers High School brothers going for Duke of Edinburgh awards success
THREE teenage brothers at a Deeside school are going for gold as part of a group of pupils taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme.
The three Stockton brothers – Zak, 14; Connor, 15, and Kai, 16 – are competing for the bronze, silver and gold awards respectively.
Gail Woodward, Duke of Edinburgh’s Award co-ordinator, said the school was delighted to continue its proud tradition of running the scheme for students.
“It’s the first time we’ve had three brothers all doing D of E at the same time,” she said.
“I’m sure they’ll be brilliant.”
