Schoolchildren brave weather to sing for Holywell shoppers
SCHOOLCHILDREN sung their hearts out for shoppers in Holywell town centre.
Young pupils of Perth Y Terfyn Infant School performed on High Street on Thursday.
“The weather wasn’t kind but they didn’t let it put them off – they were fantastic,” said town centre manager Medwyn Roberts.
“There was a very large crowd of parents taking photos and lots of shoppers stopped to watch.
“We decided to hold the event on a market day and it was a huge success.”
Children from Ysgol Y Fron also sang later in the morning, and today (Thursday) pupils of Ysgol Gwenffrwd and St Winefride’s Primary will perform.
