Racing: Santa heads for Bangor-on-Dee festive race meet

A FESTIVE racing treat awaits on Monday at Bangor-on-Dee racecourse.

The track is hosting a seven-race card on December 19.

It will be a family affair with Santa resident in his grotto, while carol singers in the paddock and mulled wine and mince pies to warm punters up.

A free pint of Christmas ale is also available to those purchasing a paddock enclosure ticket in advance.

The first race takes place at 12.40pm with the last running at 3.40pm.

Gates open at 10.30am and course tickets are available from £7, paddock tickets from £17 in advance from the box office on 01244 304610.
