THE final day of a public inquiry into a Holywell Travellers’ site has been postponed due to bad weather.
The public inquiry into Dollar Park started in November but after two days was adjourned and had been due to reconvene on Tuesday.
The inquiry will now reconvene on January 17 at a venue which has yet to be announced.
Dollar Park, which is home to six families, was set up in 2007 and a retrospective planning application for it was refused by the council and by a planning inspector at an inquiry last year.
The latest inquiry, led by Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) inspector Alwyn Nixon, was ordered after the council’s decision to refuse a revised application earlier this year was appealed by the occupants.
