Continental market in Mold

PRODUCERS from across the continent gathered in Mold last week.

A continental market was held in the town on Thursday, Friday and Sunday.

Shoppers were able to browse stalls of European food including olives, Italian nougat, cheeses, sausages, paella and more.

Items such as hand bags and leather items, Marseille soaps, lavender and children’s toys were also on offer.

Traders wore traditional costumes from their native countries.

Visitors were also given the chance to win a hamper full of goods from the market.

The event was coordinated by Mold Town Council and licensed by Flintshire County Council.
